After falling in love with the Dominican Republic (DR) during his travels there, in 2006, at 25 years of age, David constructed his first villa there. During this time, he also met Paul “Chip” Bommarito, who became his partner in the business. Getting Around: It is a long walk to the main road. However, we can arrange taxi service and also have rental cars on site. The taxi service cost $10.00 to go to town, and phone numbers are provided in the condo. Other Things to Note: Day passes to the Ocean Village Club House include use of the water park, swimming pools and children's playground. The price is 400 pesos ($9.00) for adults and 150 pesos ($3.50) for kids. Another option, that includes day pass and lunch at Al Porto restaurant, is 650 pesos ($14.00) for adults and 450 pesos ($10.00) for kids. Multiple days up to one month: 1,650 pesos ($36.00) per adult and 950 pesos ($21.00) per child (no food included). The gym day pass is 400 pesos ($9.00); weekly pass is 1,500 pesos ($33.00); monthly pass is 2,500 pesos ($55.00).
